I miss the old GLC cast

I miss Vath and Isamoth´s banter, I miss Bzz, I miss Green Man and Stel and I miss Iolande. The current GLC cast doens´t seem to have that charisma the others had. Or maybe I´m just biased to those characters

Its only been three issues and they haven't had a chance to say anything distinctive of their personalities just the obligatory stating of morals whenever something bad happens. "Oh no these Green Lanterns are dead! I won't stop until something is done about this!" doesn't really show off much of a personality when there are at least 7199 others feeling the same way.

I say give Tomasi some time and we may even learn to remember the names of this cast. He did it before and he can do it again, and at least this time he's shown an interest in Salaak which is far long than overdue. Be patient.

yeah i got to agree with West on this it's only been 3 issues, give it time, as for me i like seeing new GL every once and a while (but i don't want to see them get killed off every time )

Pretty much my thoughts, I dropped this as there's nothing here to hook me into keeping it outside of Guy and John. Can't have a book about an ensemble cast with out said cast

Miss the old cast? I still miss the cast of Tomar Re, Katma Tui, Arkkis Chummuck, Xax, Ch'p, Galius Zed, and all the other pre Crisis Lanterns. Most of which are gone now.

I've got no problem with the current cast, and I'm glad Isomot Kol is back. Seems Tomasi has a fondness for him, surprisingly, lol. I'm sure any of these characters will be perfectly servicable. I just wish the majority them wouldn't be treated like redshirts, ie, any non human who ISN'T Arisia, Salaak, or Killowog.

I'd like to see some of the buddy cop teamups to return to the book. It helps to flesh out some of these alien GLs' characters for the reader when they have a partner to bounce dialogue off of. Vath Sarn and Isomot Kol is an obvious one. I like the idea of splitting Guy and John up for a bit and teaming them up with an alien GL...preferrably ones that aren't set up to die in the arc they are currently in.

I'd like to see Arisia with another sector partner. Teaming her with Sodam Yat would be great, but it seems like they want to give Yat a rest fora while.

Yeah, I still think Tomasi keeping those two apart works best for these secondary characters but I am quickly losing faith that will happen. I'm thinking Pete wants to hammer home something about GLs are always expendable since we have so many events that don't kill anyone we know.
