Collector, and customizer of 1:18 scale heroes

I started collecting back in '03 w/ Transformers, and customizing them in '04 but in Jan '09 Hasbro stopped putting out new G1 inspired TFs, and went all out RoTF. So I stopped buying the TFs, and started collecting, and customizing DCUIH, and MU. I have pretty much every DCUIH, and MU figure as well as a lot of GI Joe 25th figs. After the last couple waves of DCUIH figures I was really looking forward to the GL line thinking that they would be great, and then Mattel dropped the ball like a WB character holding an anchor. So as a result I started making my own GL figs. Though they really dropped the ball I'm still buying the movie figs, but since I have a bunch of Joe bodies in bags I'm going to be using to fix the pathetic excuse for articulation they gave the GL figs.

He is the greedy head of a international corporate machine. Now over in the corner is Bruce Castle...he's our resident Tom Jones expert. This guy standing behind me with the Heron Marked Sword and a Camo colored cape is Shingo Wol...I think he has read The Wheel of Time to much...think's he is a Warder. Now over here is the discussion tables feel free to be post whores...we all are...It was nice to meet you and show you around our asyl..err board...remember meds at 2 and lights out at sundown...Have fun...

Lights out? But I'm a GL ring maker. My light never goes out, and my mind never stops coming up w/ ideas. Besides I work nights so my lights are on more at night when I'm off than anyone else in the neighborhood. Thanks for the quick tour. If the orderlies come after me for having my light on after sundown I'll be sure to show them what a ring slinger can do w/ a ring on each hand. Honor guard on my right, and classic on my left. I say bring 'em on.

Thanks I'm really enjoying exploring the new skill set that sculpting is requiring me to develop. I've been drawing since I first picked up a crayon at 1 or 2, but I just started sculpting earlier this year w/ that bad @$$ Kilowog I made. The head was the JLU Kilowog, and I sculpted onto it w/ green stuff, and then I sculpted the neck, and the hands including the ring all on an MU Juggy. Since then my friend, and mentor Onyx over on OPP has been teaching me the skills I need to get better. I've gotten so good that he has added me as one of the sculptors for his team, and w/ my background in reverse engineering TF, and drawing up diagrams of how a figure could be put together he named me part of the R&D team as well. By either the end of this year, or this time next year at the latest I'll also be casting parts. One of my first projects I have planned is making the GL figures that Mattel royally screwed as articulated as MU figures, and then some.
