Heaping servings of machismo and jingoism - Check

This is the 300 of World War 2 movies. I have no complaints

    Actually the correct spelling is..

    Inglourious Basterds.

And yes, this will be awesome. QT is my second favorite director, and Brad Pitt can do no wrong. I'm a little worried about Eli Roth's role though. lol

But, isn't that glorifying War Crimes?

Well, maybe. It depends on who they end up killing. If they go out to kill the non-innocent, then it isn't a war crime at all. But I'm sure it will be glorifying war crimes. When has QT ever done something tastefully?lol

Besides, these are Nazis. Who here cares about them? The more they suffer, the happier it will make me.

I don't want to tread on anyone's toes so all i say is... I have my reservations about this film. I love gore, I love war movies, I love seeing Nazi's get what they dished out... I hate Tarantino.

                    Jackie Brown was cool.

Saw it. Fantastic. It's everything you think it will be from the previews and more.

Though I will say... we don't actually see the actual Basterds all that much in the film. Much of the film is eaten up by a Jewish survivor lady, and then an actress.

Much of the first half of the film repeats the same formula over and over again, but it's good. Scene after scene begins very calmly, and quickly escalates to the Good Guy getting very, very uncomfortable until things come to a boil. You'll see what I mean when you see the movie.

                            Excellent movie. Classic Tarantino.
And even Mike Myers was there!

To be honest, they could have cut his small part and it wouldn't have affected a thing.
