At this point in my life...my ex girlfriend. She saved my life, and I'll be in debt to her forever.

I get the feeling that it'd be rude to ask how she did it at this point.

I always admired General Erwin Rommel. An honorable man, a good soldier and despite the side he fought on, he was a decent person. He was also a miltiary mastermind.

Overall, my mother. She always pushed me to do well in school, also encouraged and supported my artistic abilities.

At the moment, my best friend Steve. At first, we were just talk-at-school friends. Not really super close. Once my mother died, my life started collapse around me. All of a sudden, Steve & I started hanging out more and he would do stuff for me to make me feel better. Lately, I have been helping him start up his car club, and he has been helping me get my life back off the ground. Stuff like looking for a job and dropping some weight so him & I can go clubbing(). I really could not have asked for a better friend. Now, he is a second brother to me.

Sean Combs. He is my inspiration and I look at his actions for guidance. He is no doubt, the hardest working man in America and to be where he is from where he came from is nothing short of amazing. I've been lucky enough to meet him twice and he was very humble for such an outspoken person. His views may not be exactly the same as mine, but he defines "drive."

and I'm so sorry for your loss SL, there's no way I can handle losing my mother. She's got cancer and I'm a wreck every time I think about it, I can't imagine my life without her. So I'm glad you're finding some comfort.

Trust me, it gets easier, my old man passed a few years back and I was a mess at first but things slowly improved

As for my hero, either Steve Irwin (who shwoed me how you can overcome your fears) or Baldwin IV of Jerusalem, one of the greatest leaders in history and for not letting an medical condition hold him back (he beat Saladin when he was 16, a leper and with less than half the number of troops Saladin had), Also, Captain James Riley, who managed to escape slavery and incredible harships to bring his crew home

First and foremost, my grandfather. He served as a US Army Ranger in Korea, fought during the Koje-Do Prison uprising, was wounded by the blast from a grenade, and served during the Berlin airlift. He always told me not to worry about what other people thought, just to do the thing I knew was right.

                Major Richard D. Winters
Anybody whose seen Band of Brothers should understand why I hold him in high regard.

                Saladin
Saladin is interesting to me. He was an extremely capable military commander, but was also a man of great compassion and mercy. I think if there were more men like him the world would be a better place.

                Sargeant Avery Johnson
Yes, I know putting a character from Halo makes me a nerd. But Johnson is not only a badass, he's also a skilled soldier and leader.

Aside from simply coming into my life, she has given me invaluable advice. She knows me better than anyone else, even myself in some regards. Somehow she can just see what is deep down inside me. She turned my fixation on death into a fixation on life. She brought me out of a 3 year long depression, and even though we aren't together now, I can honestly say I've never been happier. I look forward to the future with hope and optimism, instead of looking at the past with regret and longing. I wake up in the morning and am glad to be alive, where before it was "just another day before I die" sort of thing.

She saved my life. She saved me from myself. I'll be in dept to her forever, and she will never leave my heart.

My Mum! she had her life together, and taught me to do things that need to be done, I remember thinking I never wanted to be like her when i grow up, after she passed (6 years ago) I realized that I'm pretty much just like her and proud of it.

My pap, he worked a factory job, took care of my Gram, and 6 kids, bought and remodeled a house with just the help of my Gram, He served in the Navy during WWII, and was stationed at Peral Harbor, on Dec 7th!

but I'd have give it to my Fiance' Megan. she Has really changed my life for the better, Iliving with her in our own place, a big accomplishment for both of us. the big thing is that she has Shown me more about life in the last 3 and 1/2 years then I had learned 24 years before meeting her. I think I am a much better person because of her and I cannot thank her enough.

My wife. She's got me to a point in my life where I respect the person I've become. She also instills in me the confidence that assures me that I can do anything.
