That actually is a downer for me. I used to have a 30-pound cat. Poor girl went blind and wandered into the swimming pool. I came home from school to that horrible news, and had that black cloud over me during my work shift. Was a very bad day for me.

I love big fat cats. I've always had cats, and if you mush them a lot when they are kittens, they tend to become great lapcats when they grow up. Fat cats rocks.

I had a 24-pounder. He's gone too.

I join in on the sadness of missing a good friend. Below is Sebastian, whom I called "Maymes". He was a good 25 pounder, and the most loyal cat I ever had. He slept with me every night, followed me everywhere I went, and would have a fit if I was in the bathroom with the door closed and he was on the other side. I seriously loved this cat. When I saw that meme I originally posted, I of course thought of Maymes. One night, I let him out, and....he never came back. I searched for days. Went door to door looking for him. It was a hard month afterwards. My best guess is that the Coyotes in the woods ran into him. I cherish the time I had with him. Many good memories.

Beautiful cat, SC. I'm a total sucker for a chub cat. When Doom takes over the world, there will be a whole continent devoted to teh kitties. Just haven't decided which one yet. Maybe Europe.

Yep. Just to be clear, I'm not one of those people who dresses their pets. That crown was on him for something like a minute.

I think fat cats are often better lap cats, probably because they don't want to bother to run away.

You do realize that if you give them Europe, you are giving them Asia as well? As long as they don't have to swim to get there, they WILL expand their territory.

That sounds like a terrible idea. Im sure the big and little kitties will work together to overthrow Doom
