What does your family think about you inviting a Hooker to Thanksgiving dinner?

i didn't ask, think what you will but i don't care what others (even if their family) think of me

and if she had said yes i'd would of asked if it was ok if i bring a "guest" with me and would of gone from there

I'm assuming that she is avoiding a definitive reply in the hopes that you will realize how absurd a notion that is and let it drop.

I'm not sure how things work in your household, but don't you think the general mood would be a bit awkward around the dinner table, especially considering everyone will know what she does for a living? I really doubt she would want to endure the constant stares, whispers and judgment.

ok let me fix this i f-ed up, my brother knows what she does for a living, my dad doesn't, my brother isn't going to the family get together this year, so no one there would know anything about her if she went, i could make up anything i want about me and her and no one would be the wiser

1) i've done the gift giving part of it at work (but we never called it "Dirty Santa")

2) i would never do the 2nd part of it, it's degrading to women and i'm not that kind of guy

Yeah, the amount of hypocrite is beyond my understanding level as well, but this whole thread is degrading. Unfortunately, this thread is also like a car crash-it's awful, disgusting, even painful-but you just can't help but watch. And occasionally throw popcorn at the screen.
