Is it just a stereotype that the Japanese are generally tech savvy?

Japan uses it the most, I'll go with their wisdom over any other country in the universe.

It's very much a stereotype that the Japanese are tech savvy, because we only hear about the tech from Japan. It would be like Japan basing their knowledge of American tech-savviness on Microsoft and Apple. In fact, most Japanese homes didin't have computers as recently as the mid-2000s. They went to Internet Cafes instead. I don't know how it is now, but I do know most of Japan uses featurephones and not smartphones.

Well, it may make a good point about our time obsession, but I'd challenge some of it. For instance, birds have failed to migrate when the seasons are out of whack, making them "early" or "late" and messing up part of the eco-system.

On the other hand, humans are also the only species that distills alcohol.

I was just trying to think of what kind of entertainment is more common at little kid parties, and came up with clowns and magicians. I'd be mighty surprised if it was a clown.

Plus if it's Zatara he might have little Zatanna along as his stage assistant. Could be amusing.
