Fabio Garriba has died at the age of 71. Beginning in film as an assistant to Carmelo Bene and Pier Paolo Pasolini, Garriba went on to work with some of Italy's greatest filmmakers. Like his twin brother Mario Garriba, Fabio was active in fringe and avant-garde theatre when he was younger, and he was also a poet (like his friend Bernardo Bertolucci).

‘Willy Wonka’ star Gene Wilder dead at 83
NEW YORK — Gene Wilder, star of ‘Willy Wonka’ and Mel Brooks comedies, is dead at 83, his family says.
I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.
