listen how much in the media was tebow in before the whole religion thing being a bad thing for the nfl?

look i personally dont give a crap about the man because i hate football and you know im a skeptic on religion.

but come on bro it's pretty oviouse its more his religion that is the focus

if you cant name me one than my statement was accurate and that is he is only being discussed mainly for his religion and NOT his talents
Yes, because I have manuscripts of all media coverage available to me about Tebow. Yeah, he's covered a bit because he's very open about his faith. That really wouldnt make him "overrated" though. Him being the in media a lot due to his faith would make it "over talked about" and "put in the spotlight". Things I said he is.

He simply is not overrated at all, because most people do not think he is that good in general. I personally find him decent with a bit of promise, but 9/10 people who follow sports will tell you he's terrible. Just about any involved in the world of Sports media will say he's below average in talent.

He is overplayed on tv and over talked about. But that does not equal overrated.

If he didn't change in hasn't changed yet, he won't change at all. Especially since he's been doing it since he was in High School.
We'll see. I still believe he has the room to get better, especially with Elway wanting to invest so much time into the guy.

so you do agree that a portion of his current trend is based on his outspoken love for his faith?

ps. if that came out wrong that was NOT my intent.

A big part of why he's in the media is because of his outspoken stance on Christianity.

wich also has to do with his success now.

do you honestly believe that if he didnt express what he expresses the media would be going on and on about him like they are now because ever since this whole thing started people wont shut up about the guy.

im not bad mouthing him but seriously its like he is portrayed this someone because he was attacked for his faith basicly pittying the guy.

The amount of fail in this thread is astounding to me. If your team was sitting 1-4, and then started a six game winning streak to make it into the playoffs, where you WIN your first game, why in the nine hells would you not want the QB who was a part of that streak and win to remain the starter?

Because of mechanics?...fuck mechanics. If you win, you win, that's all that matters. And I'll take a sub 50% completion percentage any day for the TD/INT ratio Tebow had during the regular season, where half of his INT count came in a single game.

If Rodgers could fix his mechanics coming out of college, which is the reason his draft stock dropped, then there's no reason Tebow can't fix his. The reason it hasn't been fixed up until now is because there's never been a need to do so. Tightening up mechanics for the NFL is a part of any young QB's transition. Michael Vick is another perfect example.

And anyone who hates or loves Tebow because of the main stream coverage regarding his christianity is so wrapped up in the retardness of US shit shoveling, that their opinion really doesn't matter.
