Milton Babbit passed away this past weekend.
He was a famous classical music composer who invented the first synthesizer and was known for orchestrating music with varying time signature's as well as playing the instruments as well.
He was also a professor at a University, for many years. From what I've heard about him, his music was not very mainstream...some people seem to find his music weird sounding or something like that. Rest in peace, Milton.
