Saw the movie(WHOOT) And here's my review.

        WARNING. HERE THERE BE SPOILERS!!

Overall I really enjoyed the movie. Not awe inspiringly fantastic but definitely one of my favorite DCU animated movies. Probably my favorite behind "Mask of the Phantasm" but I haven't seen "Wonder Woman" so that might explain that. I've listed a lot of the stuff I enjoyed and the stuff I didn't like so much.

        Things I really liked:
-Joker's hilarious yet creepy as he should be. Oh my god the scene with the chips while listening to Black Mask and then what happens after... Awesome awesome scene.
-The animation's really nice(though the cars are a wee bit on the too obviously CG side but that doesn't take away from much)
-I'm fine with all of the voices(Jason Isaacs's Ra's kicks ass in particular)
-The origin of Jason's revival is much better and less convulted here in my opinion.
-As a fan of the comics storyline and having read it many times, I think it was smart of them to mesh both their first fight from the comics(when he revealed himself to be Jason, and the second, when Jason had Joker hostage) together. It was a good move to let the build up to the unmasking go up until that point.
-I'm glad they kept a lot of great scenes from the comic in the movie such as the whole end confrontation, the rocket through Black Mask's office, the flashbacks of Jason as Robin(though Riddler wasn't in the comic but whatever that was cool too)
-Liked how they put the flashback of the original Red Hood in.
-At least at the end, you saw him grab Jason before the explosion, at least showing that he still tried. That was good.

        Things I didn't really like:
-Those Black Mask mercenaries...cool visual I guess but kind of corny and a bit too The Batmanish for me. Don't know, they just didn't really fit.
-Didn't love Black Mask(though I'm not that big a fan of him in the comics either) but I did like his hobby of smacking people when he was angry. Those henchmen couldn't catch a break.

I'd give the movie an 8/10

As much as I've never been a fan of Jason Todd, I'll admit the film was highly entertaining. I still remember the big "stunt" DC pulled when Joker offed Jason all those years ago. I remember thinking something like by the voted ending lots of other people don't like Jason as Robin either, but also feeling sad a Robin got killed.

I went into watching the flick after hearing all the critic of the voice casting, so I didn't pay any attention to how the characters were voiced. I'd hafta say it ranks as my favorite of the DC animated features of late. Yes, I liked Green Lantern the most until now, but UTRH is now numero uno, followed by Green Lantern, then Justice League Crisis.

Please don't misread my review though. I still don't care for the Jason Todd character, but he does serve as an interesting rogue in the Batman family. Dick Grayson is still my favorite Robin, but I like Tim Drake too. Although, I'll add Dick is cooler as Nightwing than he was as Robin.

I really enjoyed this, but that might be because I really didn't have high expectations and knew nothing about the original story for comparison.

The voice acting was good, although it takes some time to get used to the Joker after listening to Mark Hamill do it for so many years. I did like Batman's voice over and Nightwing was good.

Animation was decent, but nothing mind-blowing.

Black Mask reminded me of the Red Skull from those old, cheesy Captain America cartoons from the early 80's. He even looked a bit like him.

I thought they could have done a better job with Nightwing's character. Instead of looking like a guy that's established and on his own, he looked like a sidekick again riding Batman's cape. Still, this was very entertaining.

If you're not into watching cartoons about torture, you won't like it. I'd much rather see the Adam West series than this shit. That was fun, and this isn't

Well if you'd prefer your psychotic clowns more giggly than crazy and evil as the Joker should be...then yes, watch the Adam West series over this "shit"

This was cool only if you enjoy watching torture.

I understand that some people do enjoy it.

So you prefer cheesy, campy and "fun" to character accurate?

Character accurate? Well, characters are whatever the people who are in charge of them at the moment say they are.

Come on, some of you guys got aroused from watching the torture. Admit it.
