    • Thanks. Maybe I will even wear it at SDCC
I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

      • Cool! Are you going to get a mop and dye it black for the dreads? That's what I did when I dressed up as Milli Vanilli for Halloween a LONG time ago.

I just need to find a proper coat to alter. Everything else is real easy.

          • It's hard to find costume pieces... at least for me since I'm so tall and have long arms. Nothing fits right. I'm planning on doing something besides Morpheus this year at the SDCC and have to go to a costume store for the outfit.

            • Yea finding stuff to fit right is difficult sometimes for me as well. I am a pretty adept sewer so I can just alter stuff accordingly. I did it for my Red Robin costume.

The bad part about this is going back to AT&T. Their customer service is slow and poor. The last time I returned the Torch, they said I had to wait over an hour because there were others ahead of me. I was like, "I paid for something that doesn't work! There should be someone able to assist me faster than that." I walked out and went to another store where the wait was considerably less time.
Drop the Torch and get the Atrix, you won't be sorry.

                • It turns out the otterbox cover is what was causing my Torch to freeze up.

The rubber tab material was pressing on the screen lock and after a while, everything would freeze and stay frozen. Turns out a large number of people had this issue which was resolved once they removed the otterbox. Since I've taken it off, so far, so good.

I still might return it and get the Atrix on the 30th day though just to piss off AT&T.

                  • Do it, it seems that you use the phone for social networking and casual surfing all of which is a better experience on android rather than the RIM OS.

After that, nothing worked so I returned it and got another one. After about a week, this one is freezing up on me. This sucks! I really like the phone, but this seems to be a prevalent issue with the Torch. I went online and there are TONS of people that have had this issue.

I'm thinking about returning this phone and getting something else, possibly the new Mortorolla Atrix. Any recommendations?

I'm 50/50 on keeping the Torch or upgrading to the Atrix. Ever since I took off the otterbox, I've had no issues. So far, I'm enjoying the Torch and I even get service in places I didn't when I had the Curve.

So far, the only downside is the battery life. I have to charge up nearly every other day compared to every 4th day with the Curve.

                              • When I first got the Torch, I had to charge every day. I did some research and found that if you turn down the brightness on the screen, it saves nearly 50% of the energy usage. I turned it from 10 to 1 and the screen is still bright as hell.
