    Spoiler:

Snape dies in the final book. In what would be Deathly Hallows, Part 2. That movie isn't out yet.

        An awesome character
I LOVE conspiracy theorists. They are like human versions of the cymbal clapping, dancing monkeys. No one takes them all that seriously and they get bored with them after about 10 minutes.

He hasnt dies in the film yet because the film he dies in hasnt happened yet. So obvioulsy him still being alive follows the book.

Please. Even the 1st only very vaguely followed the book. And I mean "very" vaguely. I grew up reading a lot of books, Ludlum amongst them, and was curious, but within first 20 minutes had a bad feel. Half-way thru, I wondered why they tried to palm it off as same, and didn't just create something original, instead of bastardising a great series of books.

Don't get me wrong, Damon did good, but to call this character, and the "stuff" that followed, "Bourne", feels like a solid slap to the head. No need to pass it off, just trying to cash in on the fame of the title. Cheap shot. Which was a pity, the stuff itself (movies) was not at all bad. But it was NOT Bourne.
-Rational arguments are inherently highly ineffective against irrational beliefs.
-Marriage is not heterosexual privilege, but rather a civil right.

-"My objection to religious belief is not that it is universally harmful but, simply, that it is false."

I agree with a lot of the sentiment here. The Bourne books are some of my favorites, and the movies only share the name of the main character in common with the books. If this is indeed a reboot, I hope that they stick closer to the books.

It's not just that the books have more detail or anything like that. It's that the books have more action, better plot, and you actually see the main character doing spy type things and being clever rather than the ham fisted action star like he is in the movies.
