Well, last episode was sort of okay I guess.

Did something happen behind the curtains? Maybe a fallout between producers and crew? Did the writers change or something? It certainly feels that way because we have now 5 consecutive episodes that were mostly shit.

Well, last episode was sort of okay I guess.

Did something happen behind the curtains? Maybe a fallout between producers and crew? Did the writers change or something? It certainly feels that way because we have now 5 consecutive episodes that were mostly shit.

A) I think the whole of series 7 has been a arge improvement over 6. And the second half seems to be a bit better seeing the Ponds are gone.

B) I thoink maybe one of the executive people left, but I think it' becuase of the 50th anniversary it's all changed. I myself prefer the change. Although admitidley, I've only like the Spoon head and Ice Warrior eps.

She is Wood. I dont remember where i got my plans, but I modded them since some of the stuff was off.

Ok so I liked the last episode but a couple of things. What was the button that the Doctor pushes and has the TARDIS started translating Gallifreyan.

The button is the magnetic cannon remote control - you see the scavengers use it at the very start.
You then see the Doctor fiddle about with it when he first meets them outside the TARDIS.

Supposedly it was part of an Ouroboros circle through time with time repeating itself until the Doctor managed to successfully get his own attention and catch the damn thing. (Doesn't work with Big Finish radio show cannon, which established that the Doctor can remember alternate timelines which he has lived through "Architects of Time" if you're interested)

and has the TARDIS started translating Gallifreyan.

Probably not, and it would be strange if the History of the Time War was written in anything else, which adds the question how could Clara read it? - unless the TARDIS wanted her to and made a special effort to translate it

I think it's an error in the writing.

Who even wrote the History of the Time War? The Doctor would pretty much be the only candidate. He's the only one to see it to the end. Would the Time Lords really right that volume with that title while the war was happening?

There were so many complaints from casual viewers that they had no idea what was going on if they ever missed an episode or that plots were too complicated to follow.
Personally I think that the BBC is trying to make it more child and family friendly with simpler, self-contained plots. Case in point:

A) I think the whole of series 7 has been a arge improvement over 6. And the second half seems to be a bit better seeing the Ponds are gone.

lol. I think ever since Moffat's got in though it's been to childish and still is. I've just been looking back on some RTD episodes and they are just so much better than Moffats. My whole family grees with me on this. I liked the darker nature of his run, Ecclestons series in my opinion being the darkest. Dr. Who just seems to have lost it's edge since Moffat.

I couldn't agree more. I'm seriously thinking about dropping the show until someone else takes over.
