Heh, fair enough. Have to get your jollies somewhere I suppose.

I troll conspiracy boards for shits and giggles if things get too boring. Never-ending source of amusement they are.

    • The preview for the next half season looks good.

              • I thought the new episode was awesome. I don't understand why if he was dying he took time to change his clothes. That was a little stupid but other than that I liked it. What did everyone else think.

Bitter-sweet. I get the impression that Amy and Rory will never get baby Melody back.
Otherwise, Rory is really growing some stones.

                    (1) I'm tired of events and secrets within secrets.
                    (2) It was enjoyable nonetheless.
                    (3) If you don't get why the Doctor took time out of dying to change, you really don't get the Doctor. That's so Doctor.

                    • I really liked the new episode. The old Amy turned out to be really smart and tough, I didn't think she had it in her. I just wonder where she got the sword. I definitely found this episode to be better than the last one.

                      • Yeah I was surprised on how smart she got it seemed a little far fetch to me cause she always seems to be in distress, still pretty kick ass episode

                        • Knne jerk thought, about halfway through the episode, Old-Amy could be eye-patch woman. Probably not, but with that much hatred toward the doctor, (and not actually seeing a body) I'd wonder if she wasn't somehow involved in Demon's Run, if not in control.

36 years will do that to you But it's only really been the last season where she's been in moments of helpless distress - more often she's in danger but defiant in the face of it.

But then again, the Doctor failed to find baby Melody, so it wouldn't be surprising that old-Amy would take it upon herself to do it herself, that's pretty much the attitude she had in the Stream.

                              • Admittedly I am late to this but here goes.

I am a huge fan of old who. I have on DVD every story that currently exists from William Hartnell right to the end of Sylvester McCoy.

The way I see it with the old series was it was 1/3rd good, 1/3rd great and 1/3rd sucked.

Out of fandom I watched all of Eccleston's run and made it halfway through Tennant's run. I hated just about all of it.

I decided to watch a few Matt Smith ones just to give him a chance. The last one I saw was "Let's Kill Hitler". That was one of the worst pieces of scripted T.V. I have seen in the last 10 years. I don't understand how an episode where nothing happened could have so many plot holes.

I am done now. I will not watch another single episode until Moffat is gone and the entire series makes a total u-turn. It genuinely depresses me how far this show has fallen. I'll take creaky old rubber costumes over this any day of my life.
