Save gas and use a bicycle to work and other places, no matter how far. One gallon of gas these days is like one comic.

Like I said if it's come down to him cutting comics to decrease his debt I'm sure he's already cut plenty of other corners. Besides it's not like comics are going anywhere, so he gives it up for awhile he can always pick it back up later and pick up trades of anything he missed that he would like to catch up on. It really is not the end of the world.
