    Heide's show:

Alex Wilder (Percy Daggs III), Niko Minoru (Jamie Chung), Gertrude Yorkes (Mindy Cohn), Karolina Dean (Linda Cardellini), Molly Hayes (Kristen Schaal) and Chase Stein (Seth Green) met once a year when their parents had their annual gettogether. One year, the kids found a secret passage in the Wilder house and decided to spy on their parents. They saw their parents in some kind of superhero headquarters, dressed in colorful costumes. But instead of fighting crime, they were controlling crime. All crime on the west coast. They were the Pride, a secret society of supervillains that had won. Undetected by the heroes on the east coast, they had their fingers in every pie with a profit. And they had covered all bases. The Wilders were criminal Kingpins. The Minorus evil Warlocks. The Yorkes were time travellers. The Deans aliens, the Hayes mutants, and the Steins were mad scientists. At one point or another during puberty, everyone has thought that their parents are supervillains. But what if they actually were?
The kids robbed their parents of a couple of powerful items (a book of prophecies, a magical staff, a pair of high tech gauntlets, a dinosaur) and ran away to fight back. But how? The police is corrupt and working for the Pride. The superheroes don't have a hotline, and they don't believe every kid that claims that their parents are evil. And worst of all: One of the kids is a traitor, a mole, working for their parents from within. But who?

I dunno. Maybe I shouldn't have voted, since I didn't have a clear favorite. Hopefully West can forgive me, but I think both his and Heide's ideas have promise as series (so does Robinson's but as I've said before, I just can't vote for it due the lack of effort put into it).

A vote against X-Force, is a vote against this:

OK, now that's just nasty. I'm less conflicted now.

Okay okay. Maybe Deadpool was the wrong way to sell you on Uncanny X-Force. How about some character moments like this:

On the other hand, just think how this would look in motion:

Perfect for a kids' cartoon that adults can enjoy as well.

Heide, are there sympathetic adults in Runaways? Or is it pretty much a pure case of Kids vs. Adults, with the adults as the bad guys? That might effect how good it would be for family viewing. If the message is "don't trust adults"....

There are a few adults on their side, like Cloak and Dagger, and later Captain America, Scarlet Witch, Spider-Man and others. But they don't get along with all heroes. Molly, the superstrong girl, knocks out both Wolverine and the Punisher at various times.

Yeah, as my personal tastes run, this all is just reassuring me that I made the right decision. Not that that speaks to the GENERAL worthiness of your proposals, just to which I would personally prefer.

I'll admit, though, that if Robinson's proposal actually got made, that's the one I be most likely to watch, by a large margin. But if I was just looking to decide what show to watch, the lack of creativity involved in casting it wouldn't be a negative.

As much as I'm swaying you to vote for the others, I'm convincing myself that I really really should reread this amazing series. lol

That's a good thing! Plus, I know I'm an oddball. Probably your efforts are helping you with the NORMAL voters.

The only thing I don't like about West's team is his choice for Psylocke. It's as if he thought "OH I NEED A BRITISH PERSON" *West glares at shelf* "OH I KNOW, TOMB RAIDER!"

                            Other than that, good cast.

I'm not thrilled with it either. I literally couldn't think of a british woman that fit my budget. And yeah, Brad Pitt is far above budget but listen to that voice and say that doesn't scream "Rich White Guy turned Charming Superhero turned Evil"
