Idea for the next draft

I like the videogame movie draft idea. It lets people try to come up with THE videogame movie that would shatter the perception that videogame movies suck.

I will lose, because I will most likely try casting some adventure game that few here care about, but it would still be a fun exercise.

Hmm...what to choose? Monkey Island? The Dig? Maybe a Professor Layton game? I guess I could try a Portal film- most people will have probably played that, right? Not a lot of cast members, though, and I can't imagine changing the casting of the voices from the game, so that would be kind of weak.

You can't pick anybody who has already served on the Enterprise in any official film or TV incarnation. That means that you can't pick Sulu in any form, including George Takei, John Cho, or even Grant Imahara. You can, however, draft Welshy from Futurama.

I'm kind of hoping that the ban isn't just on the Enterprise. I know if somebody nabs Sisko, I'm counting it against them. The idea here seems to be to make a crew from NON-Trek characters. (Characters that are played by actors that have been on Trek are OK, though? As long as the CHARACTER isn't a Trek character? So if some fool wanted T.J. Hooker as their Head of Security, that'd be OK?)
