  • Something strange.

I just got an email from UPS stating I had a package scheduled for delivery on Monday...that isn't really all that strange. But what struck me as kind of funny was in the little disclaimed at the bottom of their email...

"© 2010 United Parcel Service of America, Inc. UPS, the UPS brandmark, and the color brown are trademarks of United Parcel Service of America, Inc. All rights reserved. "

    You can trademark a color?

Just struck me as kind of strange.
Now you'd never call Erwin a "Wussy"
Nor label his working day "cushy"
But you might have to question
    His endless obsession
    With superpositional pussy.

You think that's strange...Listen to this: ''The color YELLOW is a registered trademark of The Wiffle Ball, Inc.''

Here is the pic to prove it

    And it's not photoshopped

That means when you do a Number 2, you're supposed to pay UPS.

UPS has its own shade of brown that is trademarked by them.

                Its literally called UPS Brown.

I used to work for them and they give you all those lil bits of knowledge.

I'm pretty sure that Harvard has their "crimson" protected. Likewise the green of Fenway's Monster.

Probably just to stop some Mom and Pop delivery company from creating brown uniforms.

Okay, we at the GLCMB Must Trademark the Colour Emerald.
Ya know... since Green is taken. BUT STILL!
