i believe there is no such thing as a bad actor or actress but i do believe there is a bad script and director that do indeed make alot of films flop. perfect example was nightmare on elm street remake. i think jackie earl halie did great as freddy but the script and visual of the film was bull shit

for mk they need real martial artists or fighters. if you look at the 95 film most of the cast had martial arts backrounds., normally i would say cast the originals but alot are old or off doing something new. for example can you picture shia lebouf as johnny cage doing a form of karate? or even worse can you picture nicholas cage as scorpion? hell look at street fighter that came out and see how terrible it was and that shit had michael clark duncan in it. i know there was a movie a few years ago that was released but forgot the title and the cast was made up of leonardo dicaprio, gerorge clooney and i believe tom hanks ... now i also heard that film flopped hard at the box office. a movie can always have a stellar acting cast but it wont mean itll be good
