Welcome back to The Rogues Gallery, where we take the time each week to appreciate the criminals who give our heroes their livelyhood. Time to see who is harassing who this week... WARNING: THIS BLOG CONTAINS SPOILERS!

--Atrocitus made an impact in Green Lantern #33 this week, by mutilating all the people in a gun store, and then desecrating a dead body. He was eventually visted by both rookie GL Hal Jordan and GL veteran Sinestro, but that didn't last long. Apparently, that huge guy ACTUALLY has brains. Who knew? I didn't. Anyways, this issue also debuted the super-powered Hector Hammond, as he mentally tortured both an out-of-uniform Hal Jordan and Carol Ferris. And, going for the hat trick is William Hand, the soon-to-be Black Hand. He is shown being obsessed with looking and touching dead bodies... weird... Anyways, plenty of villains in GL this week, but, we must look elsewhere. Moving on...

--Shockwave made a return appearance in Teen Titans #61 after escaping in Teen Titans #56. Apparently, the criminal organization known as The 100 has purchased all the corporations that used to belong to Ted Kord, former Blue Beetle. This, of course, throws Jaime into the mix of trying to stop him, along with Kid Devil, who is out to bring him in and settle his own personal score from their first encounter(Shockwave called him 'Beast Boy'. The nerve...). While unsuccessful the first time, they finally subdue the big-baddy through(Ugh...) teamwork. Of course, I still prefer the GOLD instead of the Red. Also making an appearance is the M'gann from the future. Though, not a physical appearance, she appears within M'gann's head to try and convince her that her future is playing out exactly, the proof being Kid Devil changing his name to Red Devil, much like his future self. But, both times, the hero beat the challenge. Yippy... skippy...

--Well, it's official. All Hell has broken loose. LITERALLY. Reign in Hell #1 started off with the declaration of war from Lord Satanus and Lady Blaze to Neron. The minions of Hell are beginning to stir up some crazy on the surface world as well, as Andrew Bennett, Etrigan, The Demons Three, Black Alice, Kid Devil, The Creeper, and(IN his own back-up story) Doctor Occult. All experience side-effects from the coming war in Hell, such as losing their power, just feeling physically sick, or feeling the need to take action. But, one thing remains certain: No matter where this war leads, it's sure to bring about absolute Hell to everyone involved.

Well, that's it for this week's edition of Rogues Gallery. And, as for the artwork, here's Superman's oldest and most hate-filled foe, Lex Luthor.

So, remember, always appreciate the villains. Because, without villains, there'd be no heroes.
