I read the first series they put out which was a bunch of short stories by various creators, that was fun. Haven't read any of the other stuff though.

Thanks. I figured it wasn't the IDW stuff. Are you reading that?

Yea I definitely recommend The Rocketeer as well, it's old school cool.

Anyways the MSRP for the deluxe edition is $75 though I managed to get mine for like $38 on Black Friday. They do also have a normal sized HC/TB for $30/$20 that has the same recolored pages but doesn't have the extras (there's like a 100 pages of sketches and stuff in the Deluxe edition).

Also just wanted to point out that this collects the original stuff by Dave Stevens, not the newer stuff IDW has been putting out.

I did. Sorry about that. I took it down right away because I figured (1) I can't afford it; (2) it's really easy to answer. But if you want to tell me, thanks.

I've never read Rocketeer, but Abin used to recommend the heck out of it.

...did you ask me how much the Rocketeer book was or did I imagine that?

Yea, the first issue isn't amazing but I thought you'd appreciate the premise. Also I think it's Scott's best art yet.

I wouldn't say I was completely blown away by the story, but it's got me interested enough to try issue 2.The art was great.

Yep, I've really enjoyed it. More Cooke art is always a good thing in my book. What did you think of Black Magick #1?

Reorder of Black Magick #1 came in today, but I'll be reading it later (after new books). Are you digging Twilight Children?
