Grant Morrison and Wonder Woman pt. 5

Well there's some good news and some bad news people. The good news is that we made it to part 5!!!!!!!!! The bad news is that the proposed Grant Morrison/Wonder Woman run is now rumored to take place outside of continuity. Some have speculated that this would be Wonder Woman: Earth One to coincide with the rest of the DC Trinity. I have to admit that I'm leaning in that direction in light of this news.
Apparently the decision was made because Grant's story was more Doom Patrol than JLA. In the words of Rich Johnston, "As a result, the team won’t be taking over the monthly title, and the project will exist in its own separate continuity."
I seriously doubt that Grant would have deviated so far from the current incarnation of Diana that it would need its own continuity. He's shown that he has absolutely no problem incorporating anything going on in the DCU. "The Resurrection of Ra's al Ghul" makes that clear, not to mention a recent interview where he shares that he's talked to Greg Rucka before using Kate Kane aka Batwoman in Batman and Robin.
I have to go cry in a corner. Hopefully Morrison can convince them to keep it in the main title. He's exactly what that struggling book needs. I hope its clear just how much I hate this idea.

Oi... Well, be it Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman: Earth One, All-Star Wonder Woman... Point is he's getting Wondy, right?
...I'm saying for YOUR benefit, FYI. ![]() |

I know I don't want him anywhere near Diana! Good news, thank you!
