I didn't know Benes was on art duties for this issue. Must have missed that on the solicits. It will be very cool to see a John-focused issue, but there's not much great reason he's not been more prominent in Green Lantern, anyway. With Guy and Kyle living on Oa now, there's no reason for John not to be featured regularly in GL.

Looking forward to this issue, but hoping it's not too much of a segue from the big-picture Blackest Night story.

Not to excited for this since John has had such little exposure so far in this storyline. I could really care less about this issue. Art looks nice though.

This will be more like the crap tie ins...Emotional trauma with black lanterns...some random way to defeat them and lots of narration...but starring a black soldier.

Can´t be worst that the latest GLC. Meh, I´m not excited for this since I don´t care about John. Give me some more Atrocitus.

I like John but he's been treated like crap in GL universe rehashing same old storyline and this might just be like the other tie ins so maybe its a good thing its just one issue
I'm still excited for some John since everyone else is stuck in BN main title
I predict he'll win with the help of Fatality b/c she is mentioned on the solicits

While I highly doubt anything mind-blowing will happen this issue, I'm still excited for it. Johns narration alone will be something enjoyable I'm sure, and the first time we've seen it in the current Volume.

Neat how they are using Driq as well.

But yeah, Fatality will show up, help John win, and the two will probably fly hand-in-hand to Oa or Earth.

John + Fatality is more plausible than the other tie in where other super heroes imitating ot recreating white light or emotional spectrum

I like the fight going on in Driq
are we supposed to think that it was his hands in issue 47 b/c the ring moved to the other hand (lol)

Good looking variant cover. Although I really feel that DC shouldn't be charging us extra just to get a cover with better artwork. They're exploiting the novelty of variant covers, and our good nature and willingness to buy them. Having said that, I have never bought a variant, because I'm a cheap bastard.
I still preferred it when John didn't have the Marine background.
